 Year 2007 Donations Begin!
The 2007-2008 school year begins with Reading, Writing & Rhythm© making a donation of early elementary instruments to Hattie Cotton Elementary in East Nashville, Tennessee.   The rookie music teacher, Miss Hammonds, submitted an on-line request at www.rwandr.org requesting musical instruments for her third and fourth grade students.     Miss Hammonds was hopeful to begin a music program for her early elementary students.
Chely Wright attended the presentation of the musical instruments and spoke of the importance of music in the successful development of students.   Ms. Wright spoke to the assembly of the student body, and asked all the children to stay in school.
